The course will help the student to become a successful student and lay the foundation towards having a successful career by learning how to: take charge of mental skills, set and reach goals, manage time, efficiently read textbooks, note taking, and budgeting time and money.

GEN 111 - Intro to Computer Skills, is a course meant to introduce basic computer skills for individuals that are less than sure around technology. In the world of higher education, having a basic understanding of computers is necessary for student success and this course will serve to introduce the student to skills that can lead to a better understanding of technology.

The Capstone course will be used to culminate experiences in which students synthesize subject-matter knowledge they have acquired, integrating cross-disciplinary knowledge, and connect theory and application in preparation for entry into a career or a four-year university. The course will be taken last in a sequence of courses in the student’s program.
